Silver Lake is in close proximity to Cary Crossroads Plaza shopping, Lake Johnson Park, US-1, I-40, and 15 mins to downtown Raleigh and NC State University.
Silver Lake is named after the beautiful, tranquil lake between the townhome community and the single residence community. Silver Lake was previously the home of Silver Lake Waterpark, a Raleigh tradition for 50 years. The waterpark’s last year of operation was 2009.
Silver Lake community offers an outdoor pool with restrooms, cabana, beach area, sand volleyball, a lake dock, and walking trail around the lake.
The Silver Lake Community is governed by two Home Owner Associations — the Silver Lake Master Association and the Silver Lake Bluffs Association. Townhomes in the Silver Lake Bluffs townhome community are subject to the jurisdiction of two Home Owner Associations boards, whereas units in the single-family home section are subject to the jurisdiction of only the Silver Lake Master Association.
